The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean check here water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some clutter that needs to be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
